Playing at the Hulmeville Soccer Club

Kids in our 6 to 19 year old program will have a practice one (Spring) or two (Fall) evenings a week.   The club cannot entertain any request to place players on a team that practice on certain nights.

The club will provide all players with a uniform shirt, shorts and socks (fall only).  All players are expected to wear the HSC Issued uniform at all games.  No exceptions.  In the Spring season, players can wear socks of their choosing.

All players must provide their own cleats, shin guards and an appropriately sized soccer ball.

In addition to the above, new U4 players will receive a size 3 ball.

Soccer balls have a size number which is based on age, for

  • For our U6 and U8 (2-7 year old) players that size is 3;
  • For our U10 (8-9 year old) players that size is 4;
  • For our U14 and U19 (10-18 year old) players that size is 5;

The Fall Draft:

Our Fall season offers a more competitive experience where players compete in their division for trophies and bragging rights. We try and keep this competitive environment as fair as possible.

Current HSC travel players are not allowed to play recreationally in the Fall.

Requests for a certain coach or team are not honored.

All new players, ages 6 and older (New to the club or new to an age division) are placed into a draft.  If you would like your child to switch teams prior to moving divisions, you can request to be placed in the draft. You are not required to attend the draft.  All children are guaranteed a spot on an in house team.  If you are unable to attend the draft, your child will still be entered as a hat pick and randomly assigned to their team.

Every two years, the club will redraft ALL players.  The draft is typically held the last Saturday in July.  Information will  be sent out to the affected families prior to the event.

Field Locations:

Practices will occur on various fields within the Middletown Township area. Coaches are assigned a location but pick their to hold practice.

All HSC hosted games are all held at our main facility at Herbert Hoover Elementary School. We do partner with other clubs in the area, so our U14 and U19 divisions may play on the Council Rock United Soccer Association (CRUSA) fields from time to time.
